Nevercold Tundra, Heated Vest
NC106
The new Tundra heated vest features an 87% more efficient battery, 69% larger heating elements, 30% more heating power, and 30% longer operating time compared to previous models!
The new Tundra vest has a USB C type battery charging port, allowing the battery to be conveniently charged with any charger/data cable equipped with a USB C connector. Additionally, instead of a previous wall charger, the vest comes with a charging cable that features both USB A and C connectors on the charger side and a USB C connector on the battery side. With this cable, the TUNDRAN battery can be charged using practically any USB A or USB C charger.
NEVERCOLD Tundra is a powerful and versatile high-collared heated vest. Its four large yet thin heating elements distribute heat evenly to both the front and back. The large heating element on the upper back measures 20 x 22 cm, while the heating elements for the chest and lower back measure 20 x 11.5 cm.
The NEVERCOLD Tundra heated vest has a multilayer structure that ensures the best possible performance in all conditions. The outer layer is made of polyester microfleece, under which lies a windproof insulating membrane. The inner layer consists of a mesh lining. The thin and unobtrusive heating elements made from red microfiber fabric are placed between the mesh lining and the windproof membrane, minimizing heat loss by placing them as close to the user's body as possible.
The Tundra heated vest draws its power from a small yet efficient lithium-ion battery that has a discreet storage location in the vest's battery pocket. The battery can be charged using any USB A or USB C output charger (e.g., mobile phone charger) and the provided charging cable. The Tundra vest has two battery pockets. By acquiring an additional battery, you can use two batteries simultaneously, effectively doubling the vest's operating time.
The heated vest features three temperature settings. Heating power is selected using the button located on the left chest of the vest. The color of the button's light indicates the selected heating level. At full power, the heating elements reach a temperature of 52 °C and the battery life lasts about 2.5 hours. At the lowest setting, the heating elements reach a temperature of 38 °C and the battery lasts about 8 hours. If using two batteries simultaneously, at full power the battery life is about 5 hours, and at the lowest setting, about 16 hours. The heating can be completely turned off via the button when not needed.
The heating properties of the NEVERCOLD Tundra heated vest are best when worn directly over the base layer. This keeps the heating elements as close to the body as possible. The vest should also fit snugly, ensuring there is not too much air trapped between the body and the vest, as excessive looseness can reduce the feeling of warmth.
The NEVERCOLD Tundra heated vest can also be used to dry out a damp base layer while sweating, without needing to remove the shirt. About half an hour of heating at full power is usually sufficient for drying a shirt.
