The wireless charging makes the device highly water-resistant. The plastic used in the GPS Mini is carefully selected to withstand intense wear and tear, as we know the level of usage products endure from dogs.

A unique feature of the Lafayette GPS Mini C2 GSM/LTE GPS is Lafayette's bark counter, which not only filters out pure sound but also recognizes incoming sounds. This means there are no longer unnecessary bark alerts when the dog runs through thickets. Only the dog's barks are registered and shown in the app, along with the number of barks and a color-coded trail. Another great feature is the fast change of device settings. With the Lafayette GPS, you can send commands and device settings, which won't take more than 30 seconds to arrive, even if the tracking interval is much longer. Settings are, of course, sent more quickly if the locating interval allows.

Monitoring/control of the Lafayette GPS Mini C2 GSM/LTE GPS dog tracker is done through a mobile app. The app license is reasonably priced and can be purchased for a year or 1 week. A budget-friendly tracking/viewing license is also available for the app.
