The Xi3 is the newest member of the Xi series. It comes with wireless capability as standard, eliminating the need for expensive accessories. The Xi3 can be controlled from anywhere in the boat with a handheld remote. The SecureStep™ system makes raising and lowering the motor safe and easy. Releasing the motor from the locked position and lifting it for stowing requires just a one-step release lever in a comfortable standing position. Pinpoint GPS takes control precision to the next level! Pinpoint achieves incredible performance accuracy using extremely precise GPS reception and control algorithms. The small and easy-to-use remote controls the following features:

Anchoring: Keeps the boat stationary at fixed GPS coordinates, with up to eight locations saved in memory. In anchor mode, directional control allows the boat to be moved in any direction in 1.5m increments.Course lock: Steer the boat to the desired compass direction.Route: Saves and replays up to eight routes, each up to 6.4km (4 miles) long.Speed control: Maintains GPS speed while traveling along a course or route.

NOTE! Remember to calibrate the compass and the bow line according to the instructions during your first use! Without calibration, for example, the sky anchor's accuracy will not be optimal.

All functions controlled by the Pinpoint GPS remote can also be accessed through Lowrance displays using the Lowrance SmartSteer™ software (HDS Gen2, Gen2 Touch, Gen3, HDS Carbon, HDS Live, Elite Ti 7-12, Elite Ti2, Elite FS). The intuitive interface allows anglers to fully focus on fishing while the electronics and bow motor take care of boat control! You can use your multifunction device to determine and save fishing spots as well as navigate to saved spots using the device's display!
