The rechargeable headlamp HF8R Core is the flagship model of the Ledlenser Core series. This is the strongest and most versatile HF CORE model, appealing to ambitious DIY enthusiasts, outdoorspeople, and hikers. The Ledlenser HF8R Core is a customizable powerhouse that features Adaptive Light Beam Technology for automatic dimming and focusing, making it the first headlamp that requires no manual adjustments. It offers different brightness levels and also includes a red light function to maintain night vision in darkness. Use the red light if you need to glance at a map or watch in the dark. The S.O.S. light function is intended for emergencies, sending out a distress light signal.
The HF8R Core headlamp features hands-free, fully automatic power and focus adjustment with Adaptive Light Beam Technology. Sensors detect ambient lighting conditions and reflections, responding extremely quickly to adjust all light sources to optimal levels for the environment. The light independently adapts to changing conditions in an instant. Thanks to the Digital Advanced Focus System, HF8R Core allows for high-quality, nearly seamless focusing.
The tiltable, flat (only 41 mm) lamp head and easily adjustable Focus Wheel makes the HF8R Core an excellent choice for demanding use. It provides light exactly where you need it. The lightweight and durable aluminum body protects the lamp during your adventures. The HF8R Core is also dust and water-resistant (IP68), able to withstand temporary immersion in water.
The Ledlenser HF8R headlamp is equipped with a powerful, 3700 mAh, 3.7V battery. It can be easily charged through a magnetic charging system. Charging time is 270 minutes, and the lamp can also be used while charging if needed.
The HF8R Core headlamp also features Bluetooth functionality, allowing for remote control via the Ledlenser Connect App (paid update for additional features).
The headlamp includes a battery status indicator and a transport lock. The transport lock prevents the lamp from turning on during transport, such as in a backpack. If the headlamp only flashes light when the switch is pressed, it is likely in transport lock mode, which can be removed by holding the switch down for about 10 seconds.
