OAC XCD GT 160 + EA 2.0 bindings, skinski
The OAC XCD GT is a slightly longer skin ski made by the Finnish company OAC!
With a length of 160cm, the OAC XCD GT is more "skiable" than, for example, the KAR 147 and WAP 129 models. Compared to similarly sized backcountry models, the GT is slightly narrower.
As usual, the OAC XCD GT is agile and versatile with grip skins and steel edges. A newly designed tip and tail provide better floatation, along with ABS reinforcements in critical stress areas.
The OAC XCD GT is a versatile ski. It has a strong steel edge along the sides that makes turning effortless and ensures good grip in hard snow. The wide hourglass shape provides excellent floatation in soft snow. Thanks to its wide grip skin, it also provides great traction, even on steeper slopes.
These agile skis are an excellent choice for mountain areas where the terrain is varied and sometimes requires descents!
The skis come with strong EA2.0 bindings, which you can use with nearly all flexible bottom footwear.
We recommend skiing wax, as this will enhance glide for snowshoes.
