The Kånken was developed in 1978 to prevent back problems in Swedish children, and since then it has become one of Fjällräven's most valued products. The Mini version is perfect for small children as well as adults who prefer a smaller backpack. It's the ideal size for daycare spare clothes or picnic supplies, as well as a small everyday bag for books, a water bottle, fruits, etc. With long and adjustable shoulder straps, it fits both shorter and taller users.
The buckle fastening means the shoulder straps won't get in the way in the smallest position. The material is durable, extremely light Vinylon F fabric that repels dirt and moisture. The completely opening main compartment zipper makes it easy to put items in and take them out of the backpack. Two flat side pockets and a zippered front pocket. The included PE foam seat pad remains in the inner pocket against your back, preventing the contents of the backpack from pressing against you.
