The Kånken was developed in 1978 to prevent back problems in Swedish children, and has since become one of Fjällräven's most valued products. The Mini version is suitable for small children and adults who prefer a smaller backpack. It is perfect for daycare spare clothes or snacks for outings as well as a small everyday bag for books, water bottles, fruits, etc. With its long, adjustable shoulder straps, it fits both shorter and taller users.
The buckle fastenings prevent the shoulder straps from getting in the way when in the smallest position. The material is durable, very lightweight Vinylon F fabric that repels dirt and moisture. Thanks to the zip that opens completely for the main compartment, it’s easy to pack and unpack your belongings. Two flat side pockets and a zippered front pocket. The included PE foam cushion stays in an inner pocket against your back, preventing the contents of the backpack from pressing against you. Carry handles at the top and narrow, adjustable shoulder straps. The logo on the front is reflective. Inside the main compartment is also a name tag.
