The Kånken was developed in 1978 to prevent back problems among Swedish children, and has since become one of Fjällräven's most valued products. The Mini version is perfect for both small children and adults who prefer a smaller backpack. It is ideal for carrying spare clothes for daycare or trip snacks, as well as a small everyday bag for books, a water bottle, fruits, etc. The long, adjustable shoulder straps make it suitable for both shorter and taller users.
The buckle fastening keeps the shoulder straps out of the way in the smallest position. The material is durable, extremely lightweight Vinylon F fabric that repels dirt and moisture. The full-opening zip on the main compartment makes it easy to pack and access items. It has two flat side pockets and a zippered front pocket. The included PE foam pad stays in an inner pocket against the back, preventing the contents from hitting your back. Carry handles at the top and narrow, adjustable shoulder straps. The front logo is reflective. There’s also a name label inside the main compartment.
