You know the saying: the mechanism is only that strong as is its weakest part? In the Black Crystal range we managed to limit the chance of having "weakest part" to "0". No nasty surprises during fishing trips. Incredibly strong, duraluminium body is the basis here. Dural has also been used to produce the rotor and transmission.
CNC machined inner fittings of all twisting parts supported with Japanese made ceramic ball bearings ensure flawless and silent action. The reel is additionally equipped with multi-disc drag system making line retraction extremely precise. Another trump card of this perfect design is the aluminum spool with series of holes in its body making it much lighter. Special hole in the bottom designed for line mounting prevents it from unnecessary swirling. Black Crystal reels combine beauty and strength in one device.
