Built on Shimano's legendary CI4+ frame, it results in a sensitive and lightweight reel. The Miravel features Shimano's MagnumLite rotor for effortless winding and fast hook sets.
The combination of Shimano's premium reel technologies – cold-forged HAGANE Gear, SilentDrive, and X-Ship – provides a durable gear system even under stress.
• CI4+ material is the perfect blend of carbon fiber and polyamide. Nearly as strong as metal, yet lightweight like a composite. CI4 material is used in Shimano reel frames and rotors.
• Coreprotect. Simply prevents water and dirt from penetrating the internal parts of the reel effectively while keeping the reel performance lightweight.
• Cross Carbon Drag fishing brake. Shimano Cross Carbon drag washers ensure smooth drag force throughout the entire range and allow for a very wide drag force adjustment range.
• G-Free Body design shifts the center of gravity closer to the rod, improving casting ergonomics and reducing fatigue.
• Hagane gear operates with exceptional precision and smoothness, providing an optimal winding feel and power. The Hagane gear utilizes cold-forged, pure, recycled aluminum. The forging process results in a more durable finish due to changes in the metal's internal crystalline structure, and the smoothest, least frictional gear surfaces.
