Kånken was developed in 1978 to prevent back problems among Swedish school children, and it has since become one of Fjällräven's most valued products. The mini version is perfect for small children and adults wanting a smaller backpack. Ideal for spare clothes or snacks at daycare, as well as a compact daily bag for books, a water bottle, fruit, etc. The long and adjustable shoulder straps make it suitable for both shorter and taller users.
The buckle fastening keeps the shoulder straps out of the way when not in use. The material is durable and very lightweight Vinylon F fabric that repels dirt and moisture. The full-length zip opening allows easy access to the contents of the backpack. Two flat side pockets and a zippered front pocket. The included PE foam seat cushion is stored in the inner pocket against the back to keep it from pressing against your back. Carry handles at the top and narrow, adjustable shoulder straps. The logo on the front is reflective. There is also a name tag inside the main compartment.
